Dr. El-Gizawy received Ph.D., Mechanical Engineering, University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, 1984. He is currently the President and Chief Technical Officer, ITECH D&M, LLC, Columbia, Missouri, and Distinguished Adjunct Professor, with several Universities in the USA and the Middle East. Dr. El-Gizawy’s research and development work focuses on developing mechanistic-based models to make essential predictions of quality and damage management for engineering products. He has developed digital technology approach (DTA), as part of strategy for robust product realization process for development of high quality and cost-effective precision products and medical devices. He has published more than hundred and fifty technical papers in open literature and introduced two patents. Dr. El-Gizawy gave more than seventy technical presentations, seminars, and workshops in the United States, Canada, Europe and the Middle East. He is also consultant for major industries in the USA. Dr. Eng. Joshua C. Arnone
He is an associate consultant with ITECH D&M and Senior Design Engineer with DeepSight™ Technology Inc. He has Ph.D. Mechanical Engineering, from the University of Missouri, 2011. He received his BS from University of Missouri, 2007. He started the Biodesign & Innovation Program at the University of Missouri in 2012. Dr Arnone areas of expertise is simulation based engineering design and digital manufacturing of medical devices. At his current work at DeepSight™ Technology involves improving the speed, range and accuracy of imaging and diagnosis across a range of medical applications. Out of his work, experience came ten patents, twenty publications in the open literature and a start-up company. Dr. Arnone desire is to pay this forward as we endeavor to advance the quality of patient care, bringing others along in the process, doing greater things together than what’s possible by the summation of individual efforts.
Prof. Dr. Eng. Ammar Abdulghani Melaibari
received Ph.D., Mechanical Engineering, Iowa State University, Ames, IA, 2015. He is currently Professor Department of Mechanical Engineering, King AbdulAziz University and Deputy Director of the Center of NanoTechnology (CNT), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Dr. Ammar Malabari’s experience range from strategy and upper management to leading technical tasks in the fields of education, innovation, production & manufacturing. Now, he leads multidisciplinary teams to provide services, make products, and innovate technologies. In addition, Dr. Melaibari supports entrepreneurs and innovators to make startups. Always looking to learn new skills, take on extra responsibilities, and grow professionally. He has published more than eighty technical papers in the open literature. Dr. Melaibari gave several technical presentations, seminars, and workshops in and outside Saudi Arabia. He is also consultant for major industries in Saudi Arabia and the USA.
Prof Dr. Eng. Shahla Keyvan
is an associate consultant with ITECH D&M. She has a Ph.D. from the University of California-Berkley. She received her BS from University of Washington-Seattle and later received her MS and NE from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her areas of expertise extend to Intelligent tutoring in computer-based instruction for engineering education, artificial intelligence application in engineering, and quality control and inspection via machine vision and image processing. Dr. Keyvan’s research activities have been supported by various grants from the National Science Foundation, Department of Energy, Argonne National Laboratory, Missouri-Research Board, Missouri Institute of Instructional Development, and Missouri Department of Economic Development.
Dr. Eng. Mohamed Salama
is Visiting Assistant Professor at School of Industrial Engineering, Purdue University. He received his Ph.D. in Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the University of Missouri, Columbia, MO, while his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees were in Mechanical Design and Production Engineering from Cairo University, Giza, Egypt, in 2013 and 2017, respectively. Mohamed’s main research interest is the applications of operations research in supply chain, logistics, and transportation systems. His research works have been published in international journals, such as Computers and Industrial Engineering (CAIE), Transportation Research Part C (TRC), and the International Journal of Production Research (IJPR).
Prof. Dr. Eng. K.B. Morsi
is an associate consultant with I Tech D&M. Dr. Morsi obtained his PhD in 1996 from the Dept. of Materials, University of Oxford, UK, in the processing and mechanical properties of particle-reinforced ceramics. Following his PhD, he studied reactive processing of intermetallic Materials as a Post Doctoral Research Associate at the Dept. of Materials, Imperial College, UK. He Joined the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, University of Missouri-Columbia in October 1999 as an Assistant Professor. His research there focused on the Reactive processing of Intermetallics and Intermetallic matrix composites and development of grain-size functionally gradient nanoceramics for biomedical applications. Dr. Morsi is currently Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, San Diego State University (since July 2003). His current research area is in Materials Science and in specific, processing, microstructure and properties of metals, intermetallics, ceramics and their composites, powder metallurgy, Nanomaterials and processing of highly porous materials. He has published numerous journal articles in the area of materials processing and powder metallurgy.
